Accomodation Booking Terms & Conditions:

Please check that all the details on the confirmation form meet with your requirements. Acceptance of this confirmation implies that your approval of the choice of accomodation, our facilities and services and the terms shown and constitute a contract thereon.

The Booking:

If making a reservation in The Chadwick Hotel, the contract for your stay is with The Chadwick Hotel.

Cots and special requests are included in the total price but will only be chargeable at point of departure unless otherwise stated. VAT is included at the current prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Bookings are taken at the discretion of The Chadwick Hotel and are subject to availability. The number of “minimum stay” nights required and rates may be restricted or vary during certain periods.

When a meal is included in the price, the hotel will inform you at check-in of the restaurant location and opening times, and if appropriate the allowance available should you wish to add any other meals and pay the relevant supplement. All prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and are subject to change without any prior notice.
Supplements apply for upgraded accommodation and single room occupancy. The occupancy for a family room is based on 2 adults and children up to the age of 12. If over 12 please call on time of reservation.

The full price for each break, with the addition of all extras incurred during your stay, is to be settled in full before departure, by cash, cheque with current banker's card, Maestro, MasterCard, Access, Visa, Diners or American Express.

To secure the accomodation; For all verbal or written bookings a deposit towards the cost of the accommodation is required. This deposit is non-refundable. For all on-line bookings the full accommodation payment is required in advance to secure the reservation .

Special Arrangements:

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately, we can not guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following policy applies - More than 48 hours prior to arrival - loss of deposit only. Less than 48 hours prior to arrival – The Chadwick Hotel reserves the right to claim cancellation charges of up to 100% of the total cost of the booking.

A cancellation notice will be issued and sent to you as confirmation of your cancellation.

If you fail to take up the accommodation by the time stated, without prior arrangement with The Chadwick Hotel, then the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations/Amendments by us

In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. If this does arise you can 1) accept the changed arrangements as notified, 2) make an alternative arrangement with us or 3) cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid.

Arrival/Departure Conditions

These conditions apply to all bookings whether made in writing, verbally or online.

You will have access to the accommodation from 2.00 pm on the date of arrival and must vacate by 11.00am on the date of departure, unless other times are stated specifically by the hotel.

If you fail to vacate all or part of the accommodation premises by the requisite time we may make a charge for a further night's stay, which shall be due and payable immediately by you. For the avoidance of doubt, failure to vacate includes any persons staying in your party remaining in the accommodation premises and you and/or they leaving goods and/or personal property in the accommodation premises (except by prior arrangement).

Leisure Facilities:

For full details of extra facilities offered, the charges and availability of these please contact the hotel direct. The following conditions apply for The Chadwick Hotel Leisure facilities. Children must be accompanied by their parents at all times when in, or by, the pool area. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when using the leisure facilities and under the age of 14 whilst using the Games Room. The following minimum ages apply to use the leisure facilities: Gym 18 years, Sun Bed 18 years, Sauna 18 years, Steam Room 18 years, Jacuzzi 8 years.. During certain periods Children's times may be enforce, please check on booking.

Car Parks:

The Hotel car park is free of charge. However, cars are left at the owner's/customer's own risk and the Hotel does not accept any responsibility for any vehicle parked in the hotel’s surrounding area.
Pet Policy:

We do not accept any pets, except guide and aid dogs please check at the time of booking.

Comments/ Complaints:

Please let the Manager know straight away if you have any comments. If any area of your stay is not to the standard expected then please make the staff and management aware at the first opportunity. We will endeavour to make every reasonable effort to resolve the matter and minimise you dissatisfaction. All Prices quoted and payments are to be made in pounds sterling and include Vat at 17.5%

Cots are available Free of charge, however these are limited and are subject to availability. Please check at the time of booking.

Smoking Policy:

From June 1st 2007, The Chadwick Hotel will operate a non-smoking policy throughout the establishment.

Members Scheme

1. Program Sponsor. The Membership Scheme is administered and operated by The Chadwick Hotel, South Promenade, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1NP. Membership and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of The Chadwick Hotel.

2. Membership Eligibility and Fee. Membership in the Program is available to individuals (“you”) as stated in these Program Terms and Conditions. You may maintain only one account per household. There is no enrolment fee for this Program.

3. Program Availability. The Chadwick Hotel reserves the right to restrict, suspend, discontinue or cancel this Program upon 90 days' written notice to all active members

4. Membership Cancellation. The Chadwick Hotel reserves the right to cancel any Scheme membership for reasons that include, but are not limited to: 1) violation of these Terms and Conditions; 2) misrepresentation of any information or any misuse of this Scheme; 3) violation of any national, state or local law or regulation in connection with the use of membership privileges; 4) failure to pay for hotel charges; 5) a check that is returned for insufficient funds or is invalid for any reason; 6) commission of fraud or abuse involving any portion of this Scheme; 7) more than one active account per member; or 8) action, in any other way, to the detriment of the Scheme or any of its alliances; all as may be determined by The Chadwick Hotel in its sole discretion.

5. Changes in Terms and Conditions. The Chadwick Hotel reserve the right to change, limit, modify or cancel Scheme Terms and Conditions regulations, benefits, conditions of participation, rewards and reward levels in whole or part at any time, You will be bound by any such changes.

6. Notice of Changes. Any such changes will be shown in these Terms and Conditions on the www.thechadwickhotel.com web site and will be effective immediately unless stated otherwise. A notice that a change has been made will be placed on the web site for a reasonable period of time. Any changes to any printed version of the Terms and Conditions will be contained in the next reprinting of that printed version. The Chadwick Hotel will attempt to notify active members of major changes, but will not be liable for failure to do so, and all members will nevertheless be bound.

7. Legal rights. Neither the Program nor any benefit offered by the Membership Scheme creates, constitutes or gives rise to any legal or contractual rights by members against The Chadwick Hotel.

8. Data Privacy. Under the data protection legislation of various countries, we are required to particularly draw your attention to the fact that by applying for membership or by continuing to exercise the privileges of membership and in order to make it possible for The Chadwick Hotel to perform its obligations under the Program, you accept and explicitly authorize that your personal information which is supplied by you in the in-house or on-line registration form or during the course of your membership (i) shall be processed by The Chadwick Hotel, in its capacity of data controller for use of such information for administration of membership records, guest service, advertising, marketing and communication purposes. We may contact you for marketing purposes by mail, fax, telephone or email. Also, as an additional value-added benefit, we are offering you the opportunity to receive information on our in-house special offers, events or services that may be of interest or value to you. This is an opt-out benefit for members. If you wish to be excluded from this benefit you will need to check the relevant box on the registration form or contact The Chadwick Hotel and ask to be removed.

9. Right of Access to Data. You have a right of access to your data by sending a written request to The Chadwick Hotel.

10. Special Services. You may be entitled to special services and benefits at The Chadwick Hotel these benefits and services may change from time to time and may exclude peak season periods. Sea-view supplements will apply. They include but are not limited to the following: Priority notification and discounts to our Special Offers, Themed Weekends & Family Breaks. Discounted and “fast track” tickets for some of the areas most popular attractions and shows. Personalised membership card and member number giving you exclusive access to our member area on our web-site. Regular updates into what’s going on @ The Chadwick Hotel.

11. Employer Restrictions. Some employers, by policy, may prohibit or restrict employee participation in the Member Scheme. The Chadwick Hotel assumes no responsibility or liability for compliance with these policies.

12. Communications Not Received. The Chadwick Hotel is not liable for loss of misdirected correspondence, or membership that may be incomplete, illegal, delayed, lost or stolen.

13. No Guarantees on Fast Track or Discount tickets. The Chadwick Hotel makes no guarantees, warranties or representations of any kind, expressed or implied, with respect to partner discount tickets purchased, and shall not be liable for any loss, expense (including without limitation, any legal fees), accident or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of such items or as a result of any defect or failure of such items. Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are specifically disclaimed.
